Professor

Professor Eunkyoung Park earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Yonsei University in 2004, followed by his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Hanyang University in 2006 and 2015, respectively. From 2008 to 2010, he worked as a Software Engineer at LG Electronics, where he gained valuable industry experience in software development and technology integration. From 2015 to 2021, he served as a Principal Research Engineer at the Biomedical Engineering Research Center of Samsung Medical Center and concurrently as a Research Professor at the Samsung Advanced Institute for Health Sciences & Technology (SAIHST), Sungkyunkwan University. During this period, he played a key role in developing clinically applicable technologies and conducted both preclinical and clinical studies, leading to numerous impactful contributions in the field of biomedical engineering. Since 2021, he has been serving as a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Soonchunhyang University.

Professor Park’s research expertise lies in neuromodulation, neurophysiology, and the development of innovative medical technologies. His work focuses on the advancement of novel medical devices and the integration of state-of-the-art biomedical technologies to address unmet clinical needs. He has led multiple research initiatives aimed at developing therapeutic strategies for neurological disorders. His current research interests include electroceuticals, neuromodulation, and next-generation medical device development.
